“Books are the plane, and the train, and the road.
They are the destination and the journey.
They are home.”
Anna Quindlen
Do you love reading books my friend?
I am asking this question because I have come across many, who hate the idea of reading books.
They say enough they read up to the college and they are sick of reading books whatever maybe the subject.
A few said they are leading their life only because of the books.
Why one should develop the habit of reading books?
“Books are the quietest and most constant of friends.
They are the most accessible and
Wisest of counsellors, and the most patient of teachers”
Charles W. Eliot
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

Certainly books are like friends, I read two each week. But learning does not come from books, experience is our main opportunity, maybe our only opportunity. Books give us information, but this is not learning.

Thank you, wasn’t sure if you’d agree. Just followed your blog as I like the concept of it. I’ve just used something similar to use photos of flowers to illustrate the notion of No self in Buddhism which I will expand on later today.
