Waste management is minimal in developing countries.
Adding insult to injury, it is said that developed countries export their waste to landfill sites in the underdeveloped countries where no facilities exist to recycle the same.

I find recycling so frustrating, I do it. But there are so many rules, and then I watched a documentary. It was so frustrating to see on stupid thing be put into the recycling and it ruins the whole lot. They need to figure out a system, when it gets to recycling to recycle better. This person put a broken umbrella in with their recycling. It ruined a lot of the recycling, and I say there thinking “Why couldn’t they just take the umbrella out, why did it ruin the rest of it?”

Things start with lots of fun fare and we imagine good things are going to happen…but the results are frustrating, especially when you are in the midst of idiots.
