Shiva is everything and nothing

Lord-Ishwara
“You make your own luck. I never control you. And it’s you who has to realize this” Lord Shiva

Lord Shiva is one of the principal deities of Hinduism.

Shiva is known as the destroyer, within the Trimurti, the Hindu Trinity of Supreme Gods, the other two being Brahma and Vishnu.

Shiva is a pan-Hindu Deity.

“Shiva means “that which is not”. Nothingness is the basis of existence and the fundamental quality of the cosmos”

  1. Very interesting quotes, Philo. I had not thought so much about nothingness. Yet the Bible also talks about nothingness and everything springing from it. I like the quote about making your own luck. Sometimes I think it is just recognizing the opportunities that come our way. I used to have a James Michener quote on my bulletin board at school that said something to that effect. Thanks for contributing to PPAC – great image, and as usual, lots to think about. I love that!
