Minimalism/ Maximalism

MINIMALISM

In society, it is said if you are not showy you are not successful.

Nobody even acknowledges that you are existing.

You are looked down.

These days social media is ruling the people’s minds and naturally, there is no place for simplicity.

So everybody is creating a ‘false supremacy psychology’.

Materialistic ambitions have reached their peak.

Everybody wishes to have a high living style.

Are you getting sucked into the ‘Public Drama’?

Why don’t you think of leading a simple life?

Why should you spend your entire life comparing with others and go on blaming your state of affairs?

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” Leonardo da Vinci

Simplicity
“Simplicity does not mean want or poverty. It does not mean the absence of any decor, or absolute nudity. It only means that the decor should belong intimately to the design proper, and that anything foreign to it should be taken away” Paul Jacques Grillo

MAXIMALISM

Do you love maximalism?

Do you love a flashy and gaudy lifestyle?

Many said they love the ‘feeling’ when they get overwhelmed!

The problem with humans is they are given a billion choices.

But everybody wants to be a celebrity in his or her own way.

I understand that people love being chased by paparazzi.

Celebrities and paparazzi have a strange relationship.

Are not paparazzi part of celebrity gossip columnists?

My friend, think twice.

“It’s not what you have on the outside that glitters in the light, it’s what you have on the inside that shines in the dark.”
Anthony Liccione

Colourful
“Be classy, not flashy” Kailin Gow

Which type do you prefer my friend?

How about going in between…neither flashy nor Plainness?

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

  1. Well Philo – you did a wonderful job of demonstrating minimalism vs maximalism and your quotes are perfect for the week. I guess I’m definitely a minimalist and my favorite of those was the leaf on the stones. Perfect!
