Hackly

Hackly

Hackly means rough or jagged.

The surface has a rough texture, characterised by the presence of numerous short sharp points.

Do you agree?

“All parents damage their children.

It cannot be helped.

Youth, like pristine glass, absorbs the prints of its handlers.

Some parents smudge, others crack, a few shatter childhoods completely into jagged little pieces, beyond

repair”

Mitch Albom

  1. I wouldn’t call it damaging because that sounds a little harsh. But all parents do shape their children. Sometimes the shape may not be perfect and a little twisted 🙊

    1. Thank you my friend for your thoughts.
I know, the term used is a bit harsh, but most of the times it’s true.
Ask anybody when he or she becomes adult… don’t hesitate to say that their parents interfered at every stage of their life….even after getting married.
I am not aware of western parents but in Indian subcontinent parenteral influence and interference overwhelms the children.

  2. That’s true. Very true. I myself have childhood traumas that I can’t seem to shake off. But I don’t know why I always tell myself that there must’ve been some reason for my parent’s behaviour
