“An awkward moment, when a faceless, emotionless, white mannequin can pull off an outfit better than you can…” Funnyquotesboks.com
Maybe the above quote telling the truth about you?
If so, it confirms that you feel inferior
That is how the fashion industry thrives my friend!
My friend none can make you feel inferior without your consent.
I know the quote is just for fun.
We all know mannequins are dummy and fake.
The idea is to show off the fittings and clothing to prospective buyers and have an idea as to how well it suits them.
Do you really need a mannequin in these shops?
Can mannequins really influence you?
I doubt.
You are the deciding person and you know what you like and the mirror is readily available in the shop for you to check whether the dress suits you.
“Don’t be satisfied with a particular sphere of influence only” Sunday Adilaja
What did Rihanna say?
“You shouldn’t be pressured into trying to be thin by the fashion industry, because they only want models that are like human mannequins. But you have to remember that it’s not practical or possible for an everyday woman to look like that. Beinz size zero is a career in itself so we shouldn’t try and be like them. It’s not realistic and it’s not healthy”
Does Mannequin serve any purpose at all?
Yes. There is one.
The one life-saving job it does is training people for CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), in heart attacks and drowning.
For this purpose this is the greatest invention, I guess.
What are your thoughts?
Does the mannequin boosts your confidence or makes you feel inferior?

Take care, my friend.

I don’t think I’ve ever thought of them as anything other than something to showcase an outfit, the colours and how the material feels. Do I envy the figure? I’ve never harboured that thought so I guess the answer’s No!
Interesting thoughts, Philo and many thanks for taking part. 🙂
