Cellpic Sunday

Muruku
“Appetites have only one word in their vocabulary – MORE. Appetites are never fully and finally satisfied. Even after the most satisfying meal imaginable, we eventually find ourselves rummaging through the pantry for a snack” Andy Stanley

Don’t you agree with Andy Stanley?

Above is the image of MURUKKU,  anytime snack!

It’s a savoury crunchy snack popular in the Southern Indian States.

Murukku in Tamil means twisted referring to its shape.

In the Telugu language, it’s known as Janthukulu.

Though the snack is crunchy, it’s very hard and not recommended for people with tooth or gum problems.

It’s made up of black lentils and rice.

“The road to enlightenment is long and difficult, and you should try not to forget snacks and magazines” Anne Lamott

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.
