On the shore

Dale Cooper, hosting Cosmic Photo Prompt‘On the shore’ says “For the purpose of the prompt, “shore” refers to the ocean, lakes, ponds, pools, rivers, streams, lagoons or even puddles if you so wish. Just as long as your pictures are somehow related to the edge of a body of water, that’s all they need to qualify for the challenge” Puddle “This is rather as if you imagine a puddle waking up one morning and thinking, ‘This is an interesting world I find myself in — an interesting hole I find myself in — fits me rather neatly, doesn’t it? In fact it fits me staggeringly well, must have been made to have me in it!’ This is such a powerful idea that as the sun rises in the sky and the air heats up and as, gradually, the puddle gets smaller and smaller, frantically hanging on to the notion that everything’s going to be alright, because this world was meant to have him in it, was built to have him in it; So the moment he disappears catches him rather by surprise. I think this may be something we need to be on the watch out for.” Douglas Adams

What way our Life is different from Puddle thoughts?

We always think we are eternal & think that our death is million years away and go on with our mundane activities, fighting with neighbours, harbouring jealousy, busy with gossip, burning with hatred, even disrespecting our elders, younger, and kith & kin, Behave arrogantly ….forgetting that our life can end …the next second. Don’t we all waste our precious time on never-ending worries & Useless fights? So let us start enjoining every second of our life!

My friend, your world is too small. Don’t think too much of yourself. You are here just to do what you are supposed to do and that’s it. Life is like a bubble my friend. Take care of yourself. “If possible, avoid being a bubble; for a bubble, even the gentlest touch is fatal” Mehmet Murat ildan Namaste 🙏🙏🙏 Philo You can check my other similar posts HERE Image by © PTP-2022 All Rights Reserved This post is part of Dale Coopers Cosmic photo Challenge- On the Shore
