No mud no Lotus

The lotus flower in Eastern countries is regarded as a symbol of purity, enlightenment and regeneration (rebirth)

Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for human life.

Even though its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the lotus plant produces beautiful flowers.

It reminds us that, we too are divine beings and have the seed of potential within us.

We can all relate to the feeling stuck in the mud at times with various challenges staring at us.

Just like a lotus flower blooming in muddy waters, our obstructions can be accepted boldly and new openings can be channelized.

“Great people will always be mocked by those who feel smaller than them. A lion does not flinch at laughter coming from a hyena. A gorilla does not budge from a banana thrown at it by a monkey.
A nightingale does not stop singing its beautiful song at the intrusion of an annoying woodpecker. Whenever you should doubt your self-worth, remember the lotus flower. Even though it plunges to life from beneath the mud, it does not allow the dirt that surrounds it to affect its growth or beauty”
