CBWC- About time or Thyme

Time

“Time is what we want most, but what we use worst” William Penn

Time

“Time is free, but it’s priceless

You can’t own it, but you can use it

You can’t keep it, but you can spend it

Once you have lost it, you can never get it back”

Harvey MacKay

Thyme (Holy Basil)

Holy Basil

Holy Basil (Ocimum Tenuiflorum) known as Tulsi in Hindi is the most revered medicinal herb on the planet.

It’s an anti-ageing adaptogen that protects the heart and brain. Adaptogens help the body to withstand stress.

Medicinal preparations are made from Holy Basil’s leaves seeds and stem.

Holy Basil is used in ‘Thai’ Food.

For Hindus, Tulsi is the elixir of life and is called the queen of herbs. The basil plant is revered and considered to be the manifestation of Goddess herself. In many homes it is grown in the centre of the courtyard. Women worship the plant every morning and evening.

Tulsi brewed into tea is a cure for all ills.

“The sum of our love is like the holy basil, which heals the pain and clears the strife, it owns the magic to be much essential to guard us with sweet and healthy life” Musky

Thank you for your visit.

Take care, my friend.
