Who loves to invite accidents to happen in their lives?
Am I right?
We as dedicated photographers many times fail to notice the surroundings as we are engrossed in photography.
The problem compounds when we are concentrating on that ‘perfect angle’ or the ‘decisive moment’, we tend to ignore the dangers that we are exposed to.
There are too many dangers lurking for a solo photographer. The list is a bit long.
We are also aware of selfie deaths.
No surprise Insurance companies are taking advantage- How selfie-related deaths have given rise to ‘killfie’ travel insurance

Here I am concentrating on the road traffic accidents, as you see in the image above, the gentleman is busy waiting for that perfect shot.
He is almost in a squatting position, body angled in different directions, to be able to catch that ‘decisive moment” of a kid busy collecting water from the water pump.
Notice also the vehicles approaching and I am sure this gentleman is aware of the same.
Life is a miracle!
We never realize that every second of our existence we are a hairbreadth escape from the clutches of death. We take things for granted.
Indeed we are grateful to the Almighty, and the very feeling that we are alive itself is a great relief to us and our kith and kin
“It a great miracle that I am alive.”
