Pebbles
“Words are like a pebble, and the heart is like a river. What happens when a pebble is thrown into a river? It causes a ripple” Michael Bassey Johnson

Did you ever speak with a harsh tone when you are annoyed?

I am sure at some point in time you would have lost your temper and used such a tone.

And tone matters.

Why?

My friend, read this quote.

“They may forget what you said, but they never forget how you made them feel” Carl W. Buehner

Why does this happen?

My friend, we humans are highly sensitive creatures.

You react emotionally when the other person’s tone is harsh either in the form of spoken words or written language.

Sadly most of you never realize that you use (used) sour tone depending on the stress you are undergoing at that particular moment.

You use a harsh tone when you are angry or annoyed or when you want to be punitive.

How can you avoid a harsh tone?

Be mindful.

Don’t play the victim card.

Just move away from the place.

Take a deep breath and stop reacting instantly.
