Parottas
Parotta is a ribbon pancake (made from refined flour).
It’s a layered flatbread.
A popular food item in the Indian subcontinent.
What do you see in the above image?
You can see a teacher, an apprentice kid and a bystander.
The teacher is busy teaching the technique of ‘parotta making’, and the teacher is popularly addressed as ‘Parotta Master’.
Parotta masters can easily make 750 parottas daily, and making parottas is a demanding job.
Notice the bright eyes of the apprentice, admiring the skills of the master at the same time expecting answers from his curious questions.
I am sure one day he will overtake his master and soon his students will overtake him on one day.
So, the process continues.
Message
We all think we are great masters in solving the problems of life, forgetting the truth that we are always in the learning process and are permanent apprentices of ‘Life’
Many saints said “we are masters of our own” without knowing the truth!
“We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master” Ernest Hemingway
Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

As a parent I can learn just as much from my kids as they can from me. A good teacher listens and aims to keep learning themselves. Wise words my friend 🙏
