“A peacock has too little in its head, too much in its tail.”
Swedish proverb

Do you agree?
“At twenty a man is a peacock,
At thirty a lion,
At forty a camel,
At fifty a serpent,
At sixty a dog,
At seventy an ape,
At eighty a nothing at all”
Baltasar Gracian

This is a wonderful find for PPAC this week! I didn’t know that peacocks were a symbol of new beginnings and eternal life. I love the poem, too. 🙂
