There was a mild drizzle the other day and I noticed this Moth (?Butterfly) resting on a white coloured wall with a rough surface.
Maybe a better grip for resting comfortably on the wall.
It’s so prominently visible because of the colour contrast against the wall, which can be an easy breakfast for a lizard or bird.
Why it’s taking a risk instead of camouflaging nearby bush.
I was not sure.
But I felt happy because I could take a lovely click!
And it allowed me to come closer!
My guess is it couldn’t fly freely because of the wet wings. I may be wrong.
If you zoom the image you can notice those beautiful golden hair bristles covering its head and neck.
I tried to focus its eyes, but it was positioned such that I could click its eye only from the side angle. In the direct view, its head was covering most of the eyes. (you can appreciate the relationship of the head to the eyes in the side view)

Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.
