ROENTGENOGRAPHY
Do you know that nothing can stop an x-ray beam from being penetrated?
The only exception is the all-powerful LEAD, and all the personnel working in X-ray and allied departments compulsorily wear lead protective body sheets (Lead Shielding) to protect themselves.
X-rays can’t penetrate lead, unlike the abusive words ONE uses irresponsibly which can pierce the heart of the other person.
So using proper words especially in the social media comment box is very important.
These words act like X-rays.
X-rays are both good and bad and the words you use can be encouraging or depressing.
Dear friend, choose your words carefully. You may still be right. But be sympathetic and empathetic at the same time. while commenting.
Fortunately in WP, we encounter the demons very very rarely.
Why I am telling this?
Recently I had a very bad experience in response to a comment of mine, in a blog post of a particular author.
Though the author appreciated my thoughts on that particular post topic, some other commentator jumped in all of a sudden and started using abusive language, tearing both myself and the author…leaving the entire comment section of the author filthy.
Intelligently the author deleted those abusive words.
Dear readers, have you ever experienced any meaningless and irrelevant comments from your readers?
It is no surprise that many of the readers prefer to press the ‘like’ button on the posts of authors, rather than leaving a ‘comment’ in the comment box !!
It feels good to be silent!!

RAIL-LINES
Do you love train travel?
Or do you think it’s a waste of time since it takes a long time to reach a destination as compared to air travel?
I just love travelling by train.
The reasons are plenty.
As a photographer, I love the scenery Mother Nature offers.
Rail track teaches a lesson too!
How?

Thank you for your visit.
Take care, my friend.

I have not had any abusive comments regarding my posts. I did make a comment on a post one day – a totally innocent, diplomatic comment and the blogger went ballistic over it and blocked me. To this day, I have no idea why and I am sorry that I never had the opportunity to apologize for what I had said that she found offensive. 💞

I am in sync with you.
I just can’t understand what triggers the devil 😈 in the person to become violent in reaction to a just a non controversial and diplomatic comment as you put it rightly After all what is the meaning of blogging and engaging with each other ?.
In these circumstances I feel silence is golden.
It’s a waste of time even to think why this person behaved this way!
Thank you so much my friend for your thoughts.

You never know how someone will take a comment, even an innocent one. I commented on one food bloggers cupcakes, they were mini and all decorated in pinks and yellows and I simply made the comment “Sweet!” meaning sweet as cute, fun to look at. She responded with this long tirade about how her baked goods were not overly sweet, how she cut back on the sugar, etc., and went on and on as if I had made the worst comment possible about her cupcakes. I apologized sincerely, but she stopped following me and took down the comment a few days later.

I totally agree with you.
We are helpless in finding out the exact reason why they behave the way they behaved.
Misunderstanding can happen because of the poor knowledge of English of the other person.
Thank you Dorothy for your thoughts and telling us your experience.
