I am sure you must be aware of ‘Bloody Mary day’

This day is celebrated on January 1st every year.

Nobody knows why this day is selected for Bloody Mary Day.

There is also no clear answer to why this particular cocktail is named Bloody Mary.

Some people link this name to Queen Mary I of England(best known for her religious persecutions of protestants and said have executed over 300 people).

Again I am confused as to why ‘Bloody Mary’ alcohol is linked to her name and if so what is that it signify if somebody consumes ‘Bloody Mary’?

Readers with knowledge of various names of alcohol can help me clear my doubt.

What exactly is the Bloody Mary Cocktail?

Contains 7 main ingredients.

Bloody Mary is a combination of Vodka & Tomato juice with the addition of celery salt, black pepper, sauce, tabasco and lemon gives the best possible taste.

Anything special about this cocktail?

Said to be the first drink on the first day of the New Year.

Bloody Mary is loved by many because it’s the best cure for the previous ‘year ending’ celebration’s ‘hangover’.

Many said…it’s the best ‘hangover’ cure.

Since the New year is hardly in another 2 weeks, my friend… be prepared to start your new year day with a sip of Bloody Mary.
