Cellpic Sunday

Cellpic Sunday

I saw this poster displayed on the wall, of one of the restaurants.

This image is taken with a OnePlus 6  cell phone.

As you have noticed, his name is VINCENZO PERUGGIA

He was a museum worker and an artist.

This gentleman (1881-1925) was most famous for stealing MONA LISA, said to be the greatest art theft in the 20th century.

He served 7 months of jail term.

Can anybody tell me the difference between THEFT and STEALING?

That dichotomy of the difference between the rich and poor rings too true, unfortunately.
Obviously, Mr. Peruggia was a thief… he wasn’t rich enough to have made a mistake. >grin<

I think theft and stealing are the same thing, but robbery is different as it involves threatening to use force on someone.
