Thursday Trios

Reasons for drinking

✔When you are thirsty or not

“There are two reasons for drinking, one is, when you are thirsty, to cure it; the other, when you are not thirsty, to prevent it” Unknown

✔Having Good days, bad days or normal days

“If something bad happens you drink in an attempt to forget,

If something good happens you drink in order to celebrate, and

if nothing happens you drink to make something happen” Unknown

To spread happiness

“I drink to make other people more interesting” Ernest Hemingway

✔To be worthy

“Worthless people live only to eat and drink. People of worth eat and drink only to live” Unknown

Occasions

“I drink when I have occasion, and sometimes when I have no occasion” Miguel De Cervantes

Special reasons

“The first glass is for myself

The second for my friends

The third for good humour and

The fourth for my enemies” Unknown

What exactly is the feeling after consuming alcohol? Can somebody describe it?

Sure my friend. Why not? Many of the non-drinkers too can enjoy and feel the actual feeling!

“After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were.

After the second, you see things as they are not.

Finally, you see things as they really are, and that is the most horrible thing in the world”  Oscar Wilde

My friend, What is your reason for dirking?

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Interesting trio and very timely with the all the seasonal festivities at hand. I’m not much of a hard liquor drinker but I do enjoy a glass of wine with my meal occasionally.
