CBWC- Matching things

Better together

In the image above, I could get only the back part of the three crows, who appear to be enjoying their siesta!

Humans love matching!

We say many times ‘What a perfect match’!

Maybe we are obsessed with looking for that ‘match’ in everything.

Who influences us?

I am not talking about soulmates, perfect couples or lovely pairs.

What makes us go for ‘matching’ things?

Most importantly why should you like it, just because somebody likes it or it’s popular or somebody suggested?

I am talking about ‘matching’ in general.

Be it

  • Nail polish to dress
  • Nail colour to dress
  • Nail colour to toes colour
  • Matching clothes
  • Matching lipstick and nail colour
  • Matching shoes with dress or hat
  • Matching handbags to your shoes or dress
  • matching ear rings or necklace to the dress or shoes worn…

The list can be as lengthy as you wish.

I am not into gender specific.

You too have have men’s style guides etc.

And you have a colour matching chart, a dress code.

Then there are special situations like how to create a mood etc.

Are we wasting too much of our valuable life’s time on these things?

Looks so.

Because we are scared what other might think of us!

And your explanation depends on which side you belong.

You just name it and you get the match! Easy-peasy!

But I am interested in ‘matching’ of a different kind.

Matching of another kind
