Sunday Thoughts

Lazy-Sunday
we are not lazy-We are in power saving mode

Lazy Sunday💤

Whenever you are nearing the weekend, there is an excitement in the air!

More so on Sunday.

Since Sunday is a fixed holiday in the majority of the countries, the mindset starts overacting.

You become lazy, lethargic and sleep the whole Sunday or spend time on social media which is most toxic to your health.

Are you aware of two forms of time?

There are two forms of time

  1. Psychological time
  2. Clock time

Psychological time is the preoccupation with your known past and unknown future. This psychological time robs you of your happiness forever since you ignore living in the ‘present’.

Clock time– This time is used almost for practical purposes. Clock time is always tied to how you act in the present. This is related to your daily activities. Here you are present fully in the ‘clock time’ and able to set your goals.

What is to be done?

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly.” Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai, The teachings of Buddha

So the  ‘present time’ is your real-time and your ‘past and future time’ are nothing but an illusion

Don’t ‘die’ by ‘living’ in an illusion

Message

“The future depends on what we do in the present” Mahatma Gandhi

Hence my friend-don’t waste your Sunday!

Make the best use of it- whatever you wish and plan.

Remember the quality of your future depends on what you plan in the present time.

The more you are in the ‘present time’ AKA ‘Clock Time’,  healthier the outcome of your future.

Don’t dream of the future but make today’s dream a possibility by living and taking actions wholeheartedly in the ‘present time’

Thank you for visiting my site.

Take care, my friend.
