Which meal is the best in this world?
My friend, don’t google to find out.
“The best meals are those prepared by loving hands.”
My photographs today are semi-vegetarian South Indian food.

- Simple Vegetarian food
- Traditional South Indian Food
- Rich food
South Indian breakfast is incomplete without Idli (savoury Rice cake) & Sambar (lentil and vegetable stew)
World IDLI day is celebrated on 30 March Annually.
Idli is the most popular and most loved South Indian food.

Traditional South Indian vegetarian food
If you notice in the image below there are 14 items.
Mind you this is just the beginning part of most South Indian Food (just starters!) during festival occasions.
The total number of food items may be more than 30 and one must have enough space in the stomach to consume all the varieties.
Life and Indian Foods
“Life is just like ‘Indian Foods’. Different species are mixed together to make the food more tastier.
Just like that- Love, Happy, sad, trouble are there in life to make life more interesting” Bismayee Barik
Rich meal- I don’t mean costly food items or rare food items.
I meant food, which is dangerous to health with more oil and a lot of junk in the form of chemicals.
Otherwise known as fast foods.
“Don’t ask why healthy food is so expensive. Ask why junk food is so cheap” NutritonSnob
It’s not difficult to prepare these food items with minimum oil and non-harmful ingredients.
Check this link- Eat this-not that (10 most toxic ingredients of fast food)- a worthy read!
National Junk food day
This day is celebrated on July 21 st.
This day you are at liberty to enjoy all the available junk food to the extent possible!
The excuse given- Just forget your dieting and indulge in all sorts of unhealthy food (only to suffer later of health-related problems!-who cares!!)
