Can you explain me in a simple language?

“The fact that a believer is happier than a skeptic is no more to the point than the fact that a drunken man is happier than a sober one” George Bernard Shaw

Is this the happiness barometer of the Irish Playwright?

Do you ever come across a happy drunk?

Can happiness be forced upon?

Why he is comparing a believer to a non-believer and a drunkard to a non-drunkard?

Who is great?

Believer of Skeptic?

Drunken man or sober man?

Maybe he means one can be Godly by being human friendly rather than blindly believing in the created

Gods and the various rituals?

I don’t know.

Sometimes brilliant minds can create confusion!!

It’s The Matrix subplot: I’d know this steak is imaginary. But I still love it and I’d rather live in this imaginary world of pleasure. Than a true world of struggle and terrible tasting food .

Perhaps he’s suggesting that happiness is over-rated as a way of evaluating one’s life.

Happiness comes when you decide that’s what you want and seek it just like everything else

So.. go on seeking happiness since it comes in bits which again depends on what we are seeking and our abilities in achieving the same.
Sadly seeking what we wish to seek has no ending😂😂😂
      Haha
The one disease that one can boldly beg God is Laughter!!😂😂🤣🤣
