The other day I noticed these shining, purple/violet 11 structures (Similar size) resting on a green leaf.
The above image is a bit magnified and these structures are tiny.
None of them was seen moving, though one is resting away from the rest.
What could be these?
Google lens and the internet did not help me.
Are they purple ladybugs?
Have you come across any purple ladybugs?
Are not ladybugs supposed to have spots on their bodies?
Or you think they are eggs of some other insects clustered.
Or do you think they can be even dropouts of a bigger insect?
Any lessons from this?
Life is an unknown entity
Life is wonderful and at the same time frightening!
You assume you understood everything, but your ignorance stares at you!
A unique combination!
We never realize that there are so many things unknown to us, so many things which we can’t explain, so many unexpected turns of events, unexpected happy endings or even tragic yet unexplainable circumstances!!
Do we find logic in certain happenings?
Forget all these
What about you and me?
Human minds can never be known.
And what about our hearts?
Even the best of the best soulmates are unable to guess what others’ heart is up to.
You can’t know what I am thinking and I can’t know what you are thinking.
I can be your best friend turned worst enemy and vice versa.
My friend, we are nobody in this world!
“Nobody knows anything” William Goldman
But we pride ourselves.
We are proud for nothing.
We are ignorant of many things but good at acting!!
Many of us are arrogant.
You can pick up a few narcissists too!
What is the best we can do?
Accept the fact that we know nothing and we are in an illusionary world.

“Letting there be room for not knowing is the most important thing of all. When there’s a big disappointment, we don’t know if that’s the end of the story. It may just be the beginning of a great adventure. Life is like that. We don’t know anything. We call something bad; we call it good. But really we just don’t know.”

My first best guess is that they are insect eggs. They didn’t move so they can’t be purple ladybugs! LOL Please let me know if you find out what they are. All the best, Russell

Thank you so much my friend.
Looks like they are eggs.
But I was wondering which insect lays purple eggs?
Strangely intense search of internet failed me.

As the discussion followed , it appears Dorothy is right in guessing that they are squash bug eggs.
I picked up similar image in the net.

They might be squash bug eggs, or then again, they could be magical make-a-wish eggs placed their by fairies who wanted to protect them rom the weather.

Yes. It’s possible.
Looks like your observation is correct.
But the colour is said to be red , brown or bronze.
But internet search says that the eggs are laid on the lower surface of the leaf unlike in my picture.
The following link shows more or less similar picture. (FIGURE 1)

Even I would go with purple ladybugs. More than the picture I liked your logic and the philosophy attached to it. We know nothing !
