Why Can’t men carry handbags like ladies?
I don’t know.
It should not be a problem if you ask me.
My guess is men are scared.
Maybe the mindset that the handbags are meant only for ladies.
Maybe the handbags indicate feminine feeling??
Maybe they are scared of other men?
Maybe they are scared of the ladies since they are encroaching on the ladies domain??
So many maybes…..
As a gentle lady do you have any objection if men carry handbags?
Is culture responsible- a kind of transvestism?
But I have seen many men carrying their partner’s handbags while shopping.
So I feel nothing wrong with men purchasing ladies’ handbags.
Are women obsessed with handbags?
My feeling is it’s not true.
Women have a lot of stuff (Makeup items, perfume, wallet, small gadgets, comb, hairbrush…) hence the handbags are more of necessity than a luxury.
These kinds of stuff men don’t need.
What are your thoughts, my friend?

We may not be obsessed with handbags but some women may. But the thing is the stuff you mentioned needs to be carried along and we women actually love to carry the whole world with us. 😅 And how to? There comes our savior, the handbags.

We should break the barriers with time. There are typical stereotypes set from long back for men and women separately. Why? Why skin care is just important for women. There is a wrong thinking that one who is manly don’t use makeup or skin care. Men are rough and tough. How Being unclean is a definition of being manly? Can’t men too use skincare or makeup. Can’t they use different products to keep them neat and clean. Same with the clothes. Everyone can have a different comfort zone. That doesn’t mean someone is less manly. People need to get out of typical stereotypes and stop judging people for all these things.

My friend, the problem is with the very same society we all belong to.
I am not talking about rules and regulations enacted for the betterment of country by the rulers.
I am talking about a particular society which dominates fashion industry.
Now Don’t ask me what is the definition of this society ,what it constitutes and why it constantly wrongs in framing rules as far as personal grooming is concerned😂😂
You are right when you said people stop judging or commenting on ‘ girls wearing clothes with pockets’
Let everybody enjoy their comfort zone.

It seems to be more popular in parts of Europe for men to carry handbags. I think it makes sense than trying to fit wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, etc., into pockets. Speaking of which, a lot of ladies’ clothes don’t have pockets to fit things into.

Great post, my friend 👏 And as you say, so many maybes. For me, my DSLR bag is kinda like a handbag, it has all my stuff (keys, wallet, wipes, hand gel & of course, a mask nowadays), as well as spare batteries & filters etc 😃
