The above painting on a street wall appears nothing great at first sight.
Maybe a bit of a different colour combination.
Looks like Tim Burton has said correctly.
The artist drew it, the way he saw it.
I felt that the artist is trying to tell something about the way commons in India carry their day to day life.
Painting on the left
This painting is about a man riding a bullock cart (driven by Oxen) signifies an important aspect of life in India.
He is not bothered about the modern comforts.
He is in the joy that he has his healthy Oxen, bullock cart in working condition and he is happy that he is going home after finishing the hard day’s work, to join his family members for the dinner.
What is the lesson here?
“The happiest people don’t have the best of everything, they just make best of what they have” Unknown
Painting in the middle
You can notice these simple people working hard on a farm to plant rice seeds. Remember the weather is always harsh in India. Still, they don’t mind and carry on so that rest of us get our rice.
Are we not ever grateful to these formers who provide us food to eat?
“Most things, except agriculture, can wait.” Jawaharlal Nehru
What is the lesson here?
“My grandfather used to say that once in your life you need a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman, and a preacher. But every day, three times a day, you need a farmer” Brenda Schoepp
When you thank God before your meal, remember to thank the farmer too.
Painting on the Right
Here you can see a small bowel shaped boat (Coracle) carrying people amidst the waterfalls. The people are spending their available time admiring mother nature.
How much time do we spare to be with Mother Nature?
The answer is we are too busy with our lives.
What is the lesson here?
