One thing I love in most of the European countries is the street performers.
In the above image even the birds seem to enjoy the music.
My guess is most of them are poor and do a living by street performance.
Here in India, we do come across such people but very rare to find them.
It’s out of question in our cities..
Buskers
Buskers are street performers.
They entertain the crowds with musical and comedic acts. (acrobatics, balloon twisting, caricatures, dance, a living statue and so on)
It’s a kind of free entertainment.
Rewards are in the form of money.
Other gratuities include food, drinks or gifts.
Music has its own charm!
“The power of a song has over people… the simple fact that someone could be having an awful day and your song or performance can make that all go away. The way it affects people’s lives and how they can remember what was going in their life when they heard a certain song” Luke Brian
Do you find time to watch Buskers?
Good question.
Sadly none of us has time.
We are all too busy with something or another.
Our priorities are different.
At the most one may watch the buskers performing when one is on a vacation.
Even them how much time do you to spend to feel the joy since you have an itinerary for your vacation.
My friend, next time you come across a busker, just forget yourself and get immersed in the ocean of joy!

Not all are poor, many just do it for the love of performing and the pennies are bonus or a way to fund raise for a charity. We regularly see them in our city, don’t always want to hear them though!!

Nice to know that there are still people who are passionate and also help fund raising for a good cause.
Sadly not much of such activity in my part of the world since everyone is struggling to survive.

I so enjoy street performers. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any for quite awhile. 😏

Yeah, when I think about it. We don’t really have many of them here. The ones we do, often become regulars in the shopping areas. It’s nice. I love watching them, but these days I don’t have much cash on me =/

I understand.
It’s nice feeling to listen to their music.
It’s OK when we are unable to throw the coins.
But they are aware that we enjoy their music,
It’s more than enough for true artist, when he knows that we truly enjoy their music,
