Are you aware of the most lethal weapon in this world?
Ok. Read this.
“Since the mouth is a lethal weapon, you must learn to speak and listen with your eyes”
Charmaine J. Forde
Enemies
“I prefer male enemies to female ones; I can survive a dog’s bite better than a scorpion’s sting.”
Matshona Dhliwayo
Do you agree?
The very word, scorpion; reminds me of two things.
The one is related to astrology (Scorpio) and the other one is a German rock band.
Astrology
Do you have faith in astrology?
Do you believe in astrology?
I used to believe in astrology in my childhood but now I am wiser and know that it’s humbug.
It is said that people who are not mentally strong depend on astrology
I am not sure about this.
But I am aware that astrology is one of the billions of ways of making quick money.
Many prospered as an astrologist and many perished because of astrology since their predicaments went wrong.
Those who believed in predicaments based on astrology said that many times astrology failed them and if at all the predictions are correct, it’s just a coincidence.
I am not an authority to debate this.
Let us talk about Scorpio
Are you a Scorpio?
Scorpio is said to be fixed and belong to a negative sign.
Fixed meaning great willpower, resistance to change and inflexible.
How can one survive in this world without flexibility?
Those coming under Scorpio zodiac signs are said to be emotional and sensitive people.
Said to be brave but they are jealous,
They are also said to be secretive.
The worst trait said to be…that they are obsessive.
Now about the German Rock band
This rock band is known by the name of ‘SCORPIONS’ (Hard rock)
In terms of concert draws, record sales and longevity, the Scorpions are the biggest heavy metal band in the world today. (Washington Post)
I don’t know what made me a great fan of this rock band.
I loved every song of theirs and still love them.
The one number I liked most was ‘Still loving you”. The other songs include ‘wind of change’ and ‘no one like you’
Thank you for visiting my site and taking your time to read.
Take care, my friend.

I find it fascinating that so many people believe in astrology.

Thank you Ashley.
I suspect that most of us are not strong in facing the life’s reality when it is constantly intimidating.
So we turn to Astrologists who always lure people to spend money( to fulfill affected persons wishes) such that the astrologer becomes rich financially.
I may be wrong.
Many trust astrologers wholeheartedly.
I am not sure about this in Western World but in Eastern World especially in India nothing moves without Astrology based decisions.
I simply leave things to ‘Karma’
Since it takes care of everything.
Just live for the day is my philosophy.
Apologies for my lengthy comment.

It sounds like astrology might not be quite as heavily relied upon in the Western world, but it’s certainly very popular.

Hi Philo, Not that I take any interest in astrology, I am one of those Scorpions. Sadly, I have many of the characteristics of Scorpions, but probably lots of people do. Thanks for introducing me to to the Scorpion band. They don’t look young, but I am very behind the times, musically.

Wow, I thought the singer looked pretty old, but I should have known them. 1965 was about the year I started getting interested in my own era of music. I enjoyed the video. 🙂

Agree.
They are a German Band.
May not be popular in English speaking countries.

That’s very possible. My listening at that age was limited to a local radio station. I had very little opportunities shop for or money to collect my own records.

Much more simple. Our big exposure to music was watching the Ed Sullivan Show with our parents. 🙂

You sound cute when you say you watched along with parents!

Or grandparents or great-grandparents. Everyone watched it! It was iconic, “a really big shoe.”

I had this song on repeat when I was 14 and haven’t heard it since, probably. What a blast. Thanks for this. And now I remember another one: Let me take you far away? Oh man…
