Are you content with your present life my friend?
Am I stupid to ask this question?
I know there is so much going on in your mind at this moment about so many things that happened or happening in your life.
I also know that the net result most of the time is a disappointment.
This is because you always feel that something is lacking in your life.
Sometimes you feel like prioritizing things but helplessly you are attracted to different priorities and on many occasions, you landed in a mess.
What is the definition of contented life?
Merriam Webster defines contented life as
‘Feeling or showing satisfaction with one’s possessions, status or situations’
Whatever may be in your possession- you are not happy.
Whatever may be your status- you are not happy
Whatever may be the situation- you are not happy.
How to be content?
A million-dollar question.
The simple answer is ‘You can’t be content!
I know, you are surprised.
Yes, my friend, your face is telling the truth. I can see your expression!
In reality, nobody can satisfy anybody.
One can satisfy by only oneself, which is again next to impossibility.
Why disappointment is so strong in you?
This is because

Some said all this is happening because of the 3 Cs
“In today’s consumerism-driven world, we often become obsessed with owning the newest gadgets, brands, and fashion. Material wealth and social status are false paths to happiness.” Jay D’Cee

Apart from this whether you are rich, poor or come under the middle-income bracket… it means nothing to you, since you are always trying to elevate further and in the process getting disappointed since nothing happens according to your wishes.
There is always somebody leading a better life than you.
This mentality is the problem with you, my friend.
What are my suggestions?
There is no rule that you should follow.
- Accept yourself
- Accept your limitations
- Accept your strength and weakness
- Stop comparing
- Start loving yourself
- Your mistakes allow you to learn
- Take care of your mind and body health
- Express gratitude for what you have
- Do what you love and love what you do
- Since relations & friendships directly impact your life, stay committed
