Happy Krishna Jayanthi

“If you don’t fight for what you want; Don’t cry for what you lost ” The Bhagavad Gita

Sri Krishna Jayanthi marks the celebration of the birth of Lord Sri Krishna.
Bhagavan Krishna is a major deity in Hinduism.

Krishna’s Birthday is also popularly known as Janmashtami or Gokulastami.

Bhagavan Krishna is the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu.

This day falls either in August or September.

This year the day is celebrated on August 29/30 (Midnight to Next day)

The offerings made to Bhagavan Krishna include fruits, betel and butter.

Most people observe a strict fast on this day and eat only after midnight Puja.

They also dress the youngest male child in the family, like Krishna.

Lord Krishna, the architect of Bhagavad Gita, gives answers to all our problems.
