Do you remember the typewriter of our Era?
They are the most beautiful gadgets welcoming you in every house and office.
And the sound it makes?
Oh! Those days!
“For most digital-age writers, writing is rewriting. We grope, cut, block, paste, and twitch, panning for gold onscreen by deleting bucket loads of crap. Our analogue ancestors had to polish every line mentally before hammering it out mechanically. Rewrites cost them months, meters of the ink ribbon, and pints of Tippex. Poor sods.” David Mitchel
Old is Gold!
“I had one typewriter for 50 years, but I have bought seven computers in six years. I suppose that’s why Bill Gates is rich, and Underwood is out of business” Andy Rooney
Thank you.

I think in Andy Rooney’s case, it was the giant man-eating eyebrows clogging the cooling vents of his PCs 😀 😀 😀

That man had more hair on his eyebrows than the entire 60 Minutes team had on their heads, LOL. I always enjoyed listening to his commentary at the end of each show however. 🙂
