Save the trees, breathe easier…

This tree caught my attention as I was making my morning rounds

You can see the photo of our famous, much loved and popular former President, Bharat Ratna Abdul Kalam, the missile man of India.

He advocated to Plant more trees.

His vision was Billion trees for billion people by 2016.

“Trees are my guru. They continue to give unconditionally even when you pelt them with stones to take their fruit, and even if you cut them down. Trees give life. Let’s reciprocate that. Plant more trees.”

A PJ Abdul Kalam

We all celebrate occasions, be birthdays or anniversaries or founder’s day or inaugurations etc. we spend money lavishly. We even pollute the atmosphere.

What is the best one can do to remember the occasion?

“That’s the way I do things when I want to celebrate, I always plant a tree.  Wangari Maathaiy

Have you planted any tree saplings?

Say not, you find no time or live in urban jungles or you have no money.

“Plant a sapling, it costs you nothing but helps you to be alive” Ayan

Thank you.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

  1. There is a wonderful place in Israel where anyone from anywhere in the world can plant a tree remotely, i.e. pay for a non-profit organization to plant a tree in their name and care for it. We get photographs and reports every year to watch our threes grow. This is very helpful to those who have no other place to plant a tree. Perhaps there are other places like that around the world?`

    1. Thank you Dolly
I never knew such concept is existing.
      Glad you brought awareness.
I wish we come across such organisations everywhere.
Internet showed me one Arbor Day Foundation, said to be the largest nonprofit organization in the world, doing a great job both in spreading awareness of importance of trees for the good of the world and also helps in planting trees.
