How true the above quote!
In the above photo, one notes the absence of teeth.
But still, there is a beauty every time, a child or an octogenarian, with fallen teeth, makes a burst of laughter!
Most of us appreciate the value of something only when we miss that something.
The absence of something has more impact on us than the presence of that thing.
What is that you miss my friend?
There can be many things that one misses or there may be variations in the pattern that one misses.
Hundreds of examples can be given.
My question is what is that you miss, which has impacted your life?
And did you ever think that one day you may miss something?
How about long-distance missing?
It is said as the distance grows…the bond multiplies.
But are you sure?
And what about the phrase…’Out of sight, out of mind’?
“The scary thing about the distance is, you don’t know whether they’ll miss you or forget you” Nicholas Sparks
Is this something to do with Karma?
I am not sure.
What I understand is that Karma is a balancing thing.
I don’t think one should think too much of these things and our life goes on, though memories linger.
At least one can cherish the memories rather than the thought of ‘missing’
“For everything you have missed, you have gained something else, and for everything you gain, you lose something else” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Now I would like to know, is it a must to miss somebody or something throughout?
“There’s nothing I miss about anything in the whole wide world. The idea of missing something means you’re not living in the moment. Every moment is good for something” Ricky Williams
Thank you.

Delightful photo, dear Philo.
At my age, I have lost quite a few people who are dear to me. Each one left emptiness in my life. I only hope that I had shown them my appreciation while they were around.

Thank you Dolly.
It’s a painful reminder to make best use of our remaining time with the loved ones, hopefully they appreciate this.
