What is venation?

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary

‘An arrangement or system of veins’ (as in the tissue of a leaf or the wing of an insect)

There are two types of venations,

1.Parallel- the veins run parallel to each other.

2.Reticulation- Irregular vein arrangement for the creation of network

Parallel Venation

Reticulate venation
