Are you scared of the escalator? (Escalaphobia)

And what is that one sound reason?

This fear is said to be common.

Do you prefer an escalator or steps? Or you love to use the elevator if it’s available?

Do they allow ‘selfie’ while on an escalator?

“Life is like an escalator. You see, it carries you regardless, you might as well enjoy the view

and seize the opportunity while you are passing. Otherwise, it will be too late” Sophie Kinsella

Thank you.

I’m not scared of escalators, but I do tend to get really self conscious when using an elevator, don’t know why.

I used to be afraid that I would miss the first step on the escalator and the one stepping off. I finally learned that I had to choose a step hold on and take my time when exiting the escalators.
Love your post. Great food for thought, on many levels. Peace ❤

Years ago, in the subway in Washington, DC a woman’s scarf got caught in the escalator and she was strangled to death. True story.

      Agree what you said
There were many incidences ranging from head injuries, fractures apart from strangulation.
      It’s sad
      It’s unfortunate.
Thank you so much Russell Smith.
