Is life a Whirlpool?

What is Whirlpool?

A whirlpool is a large swirling body of water formed when two opposing currents of water meet. And if one gets stuck in the Whirlpool, the swirling vortex which is deadly straight away drags you to the bottom of the river or ocean.

It’s said even ships can get drowned and destroyed.

Can we compare our life to a whirlpool?

What do you say, my friend?

My guess is we are trapped in a whirlpool.

Our mind is a constant battle between ‘do it’ & ‘don’t do it. or ‘Yes’ or ‘No’

You are damned if you do and you are damned if you don’t do!

Two things are very clear, right from the beginning

Just like we enter this world, we have to leave it too.

The world belongs to us at the same time we are not, permanent members to claim the ownership.

We try to achieve ‘high’ all the times in our dealings and try to be successful persons in this life.

Our struggle is never-ending

Ups and downs, constantly remind us, our limitations in the scheme of things from the Universe.

I am not saying that one should never strive to become the best.

And becoming best, at what cost?

That is the question I am asking.

Are we not trapping ourselves from happiness to sadness to happiness to sadness?

And the majority tells us, that happiness is eluding them all the time and that they are sad.

“Life without problem is like an ocean without water, which is really impossible” Bilal Khan

You know that it’s a vicious cycle

What is the whirlpool of life?

My friend life is an endless string of problems.

They are plenty but I can tell a few.

  • Problems/Financial crisis
  • Obstacles
  • Over ambition
  • security
  • Greed
  • Desire
  • Concerns, hurts & sorrow (health, love life, relationship, friendship etc)
  • Workplace pressure, unfair treatment etc.
  • Failure

I can go on and on…

These are enough to drown you to the bottom.

Is there any solution?

Yes, my friend.

The problems and obstacles are nothing but creations of your mindset’

Have a positive attitude while facing problems.

Life is full of opportunities and probabilities.

Anything can happen in your life.

Don’t fight with the Whirlpool. Let the whirlpool pull you down. You just flow with it, touch the bottom and then swim back.

Same thing you do in your life also. Don’t fight but flow with the tide and calm down yourself. Change your attitude and mindset.

God troubles us with all the problems because

  • He wants us to become stronger by facing them
  • He wants us to have a look at a different perspective of life
  • He wants you to develop patience and tolerance

But what we do instead?

Instead of solving our problems, We create more problems for ourselves & also for others.

We are never helpful to each other and create obstacles if somebody becomes successful.

We have become more selfish and hesitate to help the needy.

“Once your mindset changes, everything o the outside will change along with it” Steve Maraboli

Life is all about love, love and love

“We are travellers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity”  Paulo Coelho

Thank you.
