Life is full of ups and downs
My friend..life is like that only. And you can not change it!

For ups, you are excited and for downs you are depressed and this is natural.
Instead, why don’t you try to make it a balanced life?

If you are still not sure what Rumi is expressing I shall explain.
My friend, you know that your life constantly sees changes and you can not escape from this, but one thing under your control is how you react and take actions.
By actions I mean, you are in a position to decide either to hold on or letting go.
This principle you can apply to anything in your life that constantly harass you.
Things can include your love, people, friends, your possessions, your habits, emotions and even your desires.
Letting go is the most powerful of all and it helps you to gain energy, helps you in healing and you are in a position to concentrate on other useful things in your life.
