Can you answer it? (Question series-49)

Why is it that people say they “slept like a baby” when babies wake up like every two hours?

Thank you.

In my mind, slept like a baby refers to innocence. Babies wake often, but they aren’t burdened with doubt, guilt, trepidation, anticipation, obligation or decision.

Because they misunderstand the definition. To be a baby is to rest mindfully; completely relaxed yet ready to react at a moment’s notice to the slightest disturbance. To be a baby is to be a true NINJA MASTER! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

…or more likely Notes to Ponder nailed it exactly. πŸ™‚

Maybe they mean in the moments when they are pure and have pure dreams.

I never heard of this saying though, but thought provoking one indeed.. I feel it means, a baby’s mind is like a blank sheet of paper without any impressions on it. The sounder the mind, the sounder the sleep. My cents though..!!!! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜„πŸ€.. Your posts provoke us to think so differently.. Thank you so much.. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ˜‡
