βIt is not the beauty of the building you should look at: itβs the construction of the foundation that will stand the test of time.β David Allen Coe
Do we ever thank the construction workers who build our houses, flats, factories or anything that makes us safe and comfortable?
Do we atleast appreciate it?
I doubt very much.
To be precise, who has got the time to thank some unknown people, when everybody is struggling with their daily chores?
But my friend remember this
“We are surrounded every day by people who do thankless but important work” Brian Kilmeade
Human psychology is that we always enjoy the benefits we get from the hard work of others but fail to appreciate, remember and thank them.
It’s not just your money that can buy you, these things. It is the hard work put forth by these individuals, call them labourers or whatever you may, in bringing the things to your table.
One simple example-Without a farmer’s hard work- you can’t have your tasty food. But how frequently do you remember him and thank him?
The list of people whom we are supposed to thank and be grateful for, is too long.
We think and feel proud that by just paying the money we get these things without bothering or realising how much hard work and sweat, put forth into producing those products.
And we even waste these products and throw them in the dust bin.
Only when you respect and appreciate the value of the hardships of others, you can bring value to the money you possess.
What are the thoughts of the people who do the real hard work?
“A lot of people tell you it’s a thankless job, but I never felt that way. It was an honour for me to serve” Frank Parise
Please share your thoughts.
Thank you.
