2 H – Hope & Humble

Hope

web-1

We always hope for the best things to happen to us.

We know that in the majority of situations, we are helpless but still we hope.

I feel nothing wrong in this.

Why we Hope?

“Hope is important because it can make the present moment less difficult to bear if we believe that tomorrow will be better, we can bear a hardship today” Thich Nhat Hanh

But when things happen not according to our wish, we get disappointed. Let us not get dejected.

We are lucky in that we are never deprived of thoughts of Hope.

Those who believe in God, always pray that He shows mercy, and those who can afford, offer money to the religious institute or to the people who are in needy thus fulfilling their obligations for being born as humans, at the same time, giving hope to the rest of humanity.

Though we hope for the best, life has its way of disappointing us at every opportunity it gets.

What about people born with silver spoon in the mouth?

Born with a silver spoon is not a guarantee for the best things to happen in life.

Whoever has invented the term ‘Born with the silver spoon in the mouth’ has not studied life, thoroughly.

Irrespective of the person is rich or poor, life struggle continues.

Let us not get excited or depressed whatever happens in our life.

Happiness (Victory) or sadness (Defeat) happen on a regular frequency in the human’s life cycle. And please accept this truth.

What is that best we can do?

The solution is simple my friend.

“Find a Victory in every Defeat to remain Hopeful,

And find a Defeat in every Victory to remain Humble”. Unknown

Humble

“Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less”. C. S. Lewis

And the meaning of a ‘Meaningful life’?

“A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect.

It’s about being real, being humble, being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others” Unknown

Thank you.
