What are your thoughts on ‘pain’?
I think, Pain is pain always and there is no second thought.
It can hurt us in many ways.
Pain can be physical or psychological
Whether it’s physical or mental…the reasons can be many.
Of all the types of pain one undergoes….you agree with me that ‘LOVE’ literally hurts us. We all experienced this at various stages of our relationships.
Are we not aware that ‘Everybody hurts’?
But God also gives us the strength to come out our pains over time.
Is it possible to see our world without pain?
Now coming to my question…
And you have a choice.
“There are two types of Pain in this world: Pain that hurts you, and Pain that changes you!” Unknown
Which type of pain is preferable?
I don’t know.
All that is in my mind is.. pain is painful & a pain in the A**
You can help me with a better understanding of which type of pain is better.
My thoughts
“Imagine smiling after a slap in the face. Then think of doing it twenty-four hours a day.”
Markus Zusak
Please follow this and see the difference.
No need to look for any choice as the quote above is crystal clear.
Thank you.

Is it not true that mental pain makes us stronger?

It used to be. Nowadays with the Grand High Church of Victimhood… I’m not so sure.

Agree Silk Cords.
May be the pain, that changes us mentally….is much better and even stronger?

What is that quote about . . . oh I found it: “Change happens when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.” ― Tony Robbins. I have found this to be true throughout my life. Yet another thought-provoking post, S! 🌞

Pain that changes us…makes us stronger…is preferable, it depends on our mental strength and how we accept the pain…

physical pain may heal over a period of time but mental pain agony may either make us stronger 💪 or break us completely

Couldn’t agree more Shoba Iyer.
But somewhere I believe that mental agony makes our resolve much stronger and we are ready to face anything.
Thank you so much
