“Gobble ’til you wobble” Unknown
It’s human nature that we gobble up things when we are greedy and in a hurry.
Whether it’s sweets, birthday cakes, or breakfast even alcohol and there are too many examples.
I have noticed this especially in organised events where food and alcohol are served unlimited.
It’s a common observation in many of the conferences I attend.
I really can’t understand, why one should gobble up as if one is not going to see another day?
What is the psychology or philosophy behind this?
I don’t know.
How much stomach can hold?
You can’t be filling stuff up to your mouth level too fast!.
And many people have had repulsive regurgitation.
People know the bad effects still love to gobble up.
On Festival occasions, this habit reaches its peak.
Have you noticed anybody gobbling up food & Beverages?
Thank you.

If it is free or plentiful most people cannot resist the urge to gobble!

People gobble cause they don’t generally get to eat such food at home and also its free so might as well fill up the tummies to burp laterπ

Agree.
But we also are aware of people who burp frequently still continue to gulp gulp and gulpπ€£π€£
