Patterns in Nature

“There is no better designer than Nature”    Alexander McQueen

“Nature never goes out of style”   unknown

I always get a doubt regarding maintaining originality in our day to day life.

Do we all maintain our originality in true sense?

Is there any such thing?

I feel we are great copy masters!

We copy from various sources including Mother Nature.

I found this  Quote, quite interesting.

“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination.

Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows.

Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul.

If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is non-existent.

And don’t bother concealing your thievery – celebrate it if you feel like it. In any case, always remember what Jean-Luc Godard said: “It’s not where you take things from – it’s where you take them to.”

Jim Jarmusch

Please share your thoughts on whether we can be original and claim proudness.

Thank you.

Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Love the photos – especially the dragonfly! And I appreciate the long quote. But I think our experiences & all the “copying” we choose to do makes us each original! Great thought-provoking post! 🌞

Great quotes today. Have you ever noticed that there no straight lines in nature. It’s just one of the thing that makes it so fascinating. There is no exact symmetry either.

    Take heart and laugh
