“Only after the last tree has been cut down, the last river has been poisoned, Only after the last fish has been caught, only then will you find that money can’t be eaten” Cree Indian Prophecy
“Trees are poems the earth writes upon the sky, We fell them down and turn them into paper,
That we may record our emptiness.”
We never learn our lessons.
Who cares about the future generation?
Thank you.

This is so beautiful and so true. It reminds me of the song about tearing down the trees to make a parking lot. You only know what you got when it’s gone. Unfortunately, the children of the future will pay for our inability to change and correct the terrible destruction of our planet. But I feel like it’s changing. I feel like there is a shift happening.

We are too late.
Let us disappear in the process of laughing ourselves
