It’s tropical wine plant, known by the names Ivy Gourd and Scarlet Gourd.

The flower is white in colour.

Commonly seen in South India.

It’s part of local cuisine.

In traditional medicine its fruits are used to treat leprosy, fever, asthma, bronchitis and jaundice.
