What do you think of the expression of this Lion, as you notice in its eyes?
Does it reveal something?
I felt this Lion seems to be sad.
Do animals feel sad?
Yes, my friend.
From the Geographical Channel, by now you must be knowing that animals do feel sad and express sadness. The degree of sadness remains the same whether the animal is wild or domesticated.
The best example, one comes across is that of the elephants, and almost one can notice a sort of funeral the herd conducts for their lost one.
“All creatures are deserving of a life, free from fear and pain” Maura Cummings
Are we responsible for the animals being sad?
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated” Mahatma Gandhi
Can animals communicate with us?
“Animals do speak but only to those who know how to listen” unknown
Why do some people hate animals?
I don’t know.
Maybe the usage of the term ‘hate’ should be replaced with ‘indifferent’?
Thank you.
Namaste 🙏🙏🙏

Imperiousness would be my judgement as to the look on the lions face. I believe that animals qualify as sentient beings and that we should work towards the abolition of suffering in all sentient beings.

Thank you Anthony Garner for your thoughts.
I fully agree with your statement that animals are sentient beings.
