“A walk you made by disappearing amongst the green grasses is always richer than a walk you make amongst the green emeralds!” Mehmet Murat ildan

It’s a species of grass known by many common names like Green Foxtail, Green bristlegrass and foxtail millet.

There are myriads of forms and hundreds of grasses throughout the entire earth, yet each grass and each form itself is the entire earth. Dogen

For unknown reasons, the very look at green grass gives us a feeling of happiness. It brings calmness.

One can spend hours watching the green grass.

And luckily, one comes across the grass in every season.

We think of grass whether it is a lawn, garden, countryside, parks, or hillside.

Of all the plants, the grass is said to be the most important for human survival.

Do you know that Grass is important to ecosystem?

✔Important food source for humans,

✔Plays an important role in nature,

✔And helps against soil erosion.

But what is that we do ?

We never look at the grass.

Even we have a glance, we never admire it’s beauty.

We take it for granted, pluck or cut it left and right, crush it and what not….

So many helpful insects live and thrive in the grass and we love to destroy them.

We consider grass as an invasive weed and destroy it.

Next time you come across grass just enjoy its beauty. It’s free of cost.

Thank you.

      Yes Sir,
There are many such things in this world and we don’t even consider that they are existing and in fact they are responsible for our survival.
