Do you know?
Spiders are said to be anti-social. Why?
Before that, you should know the definition of Antisocial.
What is Anti Social?
Anti-socials are said to be harmful or annoying to other people.
They don’t like to be with other people.
They ignore the feelings of others. They don’t decide what is right or wrong. Often avoid spending time with other people.
Hostile, menacing, and threatening.
Opposed to the social order.
Love to violate the rights of others.
Now coming to our spider friend
Most spiders are said to be lone wolves.
And they hunt alone.
Some of them are specialists in cannibalism.
Defend their web from other spiders zealously.
For spiders, it is cruel to be kind (sciencemagazine.org)
Of course, we also come across social spiders, but these spiders are discovered as recently as 2006.
What about human beings?
Donna Lynn Hope has a somewhat different opinion.
“Spiders are anti-social, keep pests under control, and mostly mind their own business, but they somehow summon fear in humans who are far more dangerous, deceitful, and have hurt more people. Of the two I’m more suspicious about the latter ”
Thank you.
