This flower belongs to Asteraceae and has approximately 20,000 species.

The flower symbolizes fidelity, optimism, joy, and long life.

The name Chrysanthemum comes from the Greek word Chrysanths meaning ‘Gold Flower’ and from the Chinese name ‘Mums’

The Colour of the flower can be yellow, white, purple to red.

It has medicinal value and is used to treat chest pain and high blood pressure.

As a beverage, Chrysanthemum is popular as summertime tea in China.
