Monday Moods

Hello Monday!

Monday comes sooo…fast even before you realize.

No surprise Mondays are a bit hard to handle.

Instead of feeling bad, one can start thinking in a positive way of a fresh start or newer opportunities.

Why Mondays are best?

“You don’t need a new year to make a change… all you need is a Monday”. Ansel Adams

Monday has ‘Mon’

“Dear Monday thanks for having the word ‘mon’ in you. That’s French for mine, in case you weren’t aware, but it makes me think of you more as my day, and frankly, that sounds like a much more promising start to the week” Unknown

A Note

“This is your Monday Morning reminder that you are amazing and you can handle anything”.

Start smiling.

“Nothing you wear is more important than your smile” unknown

Thank you.

The name of Monday is derived from Old English Mōnandæg and Middle English Monenday, originally a translation of Latin dies lunae “day of the Moon”.

Fun trivia to brighten up the post a tiny bit. 🙂

The other ones I know are that Wednesday is named after Wodin (Odin) and Thursday is after Thor. Oh and Saturday is named after the god or planet Saturn.
